Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem This Per Diem opportunity offers a supportive environment at an independent pharmacy serving patients connected with local mental health providers. Operating Monday through Friday with no weekend or holiday shifts, the schedule provides consistency and balance for pharmacy technicians.
Schedule:
Dates needed: August 18, 19, 20, 21, 24 Shift hours: 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, including two 15-minute breaks
Location:
A quiet medical building setting with minimal foot traffic, focused on prescription fulfillment without drive-thru service or opioid dispensing.
Responsibilities:
Accurately entering data from the electronic prescription queue Filling prescriptions efficiently and accurately Operating shipping and point-of-sale systems for courier services
Desired Experience and Skills:
Valid Florida pharmacy technician license Comfort with data entry tasks Experience with PioneerRx pharmacy system is a plus but not required; training will be provided Fluency in Spanish is advantageous given the patient population served
Environment Highlights:
Average of fewer than 100 prescriptions daily No immunization duties or sales pressure at the point of sale Minimal incoming calls (under 20 daily) Most prescriptions are delivered by local courier or UPS, requiring interaction with shipping systems This position suits technicians who appreciate a calm, well-organized workflow in a patient-centered, independent pharmacy setting.
