Job Summary:

We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable Pharmacy Technician to join our infusion team. This role requires a strong understanding of sterile compounding practices, a commitment to patient safety, and an excellent attendance record. The ideal candidate is reliable, precise, and thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and compound sterile infusion medications in compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards Maintain strict aseptic technique and ensure all cleanroom protocols are followed Accurately measure, mix, and label medications for IV infusion Assist pharmacists with order entry, medication preparation, and inventory management Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the sterile compounding environment Ensure proper storage and handling of medications and supplies Maintain accurate documentation and records Collaborate with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals Adhere to all state and federal pharmacy regulations

Qualifications:

Active Pharmacy Technician certification/registration (required) Previous sterile compounding or infusion experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and cleanroom procedures High attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Dependable with a strong attendance record Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in home infusion or hospital infusion settings Familiarity with USP <797> and <800> guidelines IV certification (if required by state)

Work Environment:

Cleanroom/sterile compounding environment Standing for extended periods Use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
