Job Description

Join our team of Registered Pharmacy Technicians for long career in a pharmacy that cares! This is a full-time role, with a 40-hour workweek, Monday through Friday(set work schedule) and competitive benefits. You'll thrive in a professional and supportive environment, working directly under the guidance of our expert pharmacists and alongside a dynamic team.
Skills desired:
Proficient in computers, good customer service etiquette, problem-solving abilities, detail-oriented, dependable, and good communication skills in english and spanish.
Role:
Registered Pharmacy Technician for data entry and customer service only. (No compounding lab work or transfers to compounding lab are allowed, due to the differing skill sets that are required.)
Workplace:
In person at the pharmacy's customer service department
Requirements:
Licensed as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Florida Bilingual in English (Read, Written and Spoken) and Spanish (Read, Write and Spoken)
Training:
Upon being hired, the pharmacy will train on related jobs, such as typing prescriptions/data entry, taking phone calls, charging of prescriptions. Duties of the Prescriptions/Customer Service Department May Include the following (through the supervision of the pharmacist only):
  • Data entry of prescriptions
  • Helping patient/ doctor's office inquiries via telephone calls.
  • Initiate calls to doctor's offices and patients as needed to fill prescriptions
  • Working in a team environment and helping others as needed
  • Any other duties assigned by a pharmacist and/or supervisor Salaries will be discussed during the final interview.
