Boost Your Career with National Certification Assistance•Medication Historian Technicians (MHTs) play a vital role in ensuring accurate and complete medication histories, directly supporting safe, high-quality patient care. Patient-facing care (onsite and virtual):

MHTs interact directly with patients either at the bedside or through our state-of-the-art virtual care camera technology to review and clarify current medication use. Whether onsite or virtual, this role offers meaningful, direct patient interaction every day.
Pharmacy and provider outreach:
Technicians verify recently filled medications by contacting community pharmacies and, when needed, reach out to patients' primary care and specialty providers to clarify medication regimens and ensure the most accurate medication list possible.
Medication list review:
MHTs independently identify discrepancies and gaps in therapy, which are then reviewed and validated by pharmacists to ensure safe and accurate medication information.
Interprofessional collaboration:
MHTs work closely with providers, inpatient pharmacists, nurses, and case management/social work teams to communicate key findings and support continuity of care. Independent, specialty role: This is a highly autonomous position where technicians manage their own workload and practice at the top of their license. Magic Valley Medical Center Positions available: 1Part-time position (approximately 32hrs per pay period
Schedule/Hours:
Every other Sunday-Tuesday 1900-0730 (this may vary)
Qualifications:
?
