Job Summary:
We are seeking a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Minimum 24 hours per week. Expected to work 5 days per week. Must be available Monday thru Saturday. As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and accurate preparation and dispensing of medications. This position is based in a warehouse retail setting
Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and dispense medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a pharmacist
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medication therapy for patients
  • Maintain inventory levels of medications and supplies
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients by addressing their medication-related inquiries and concerns
  • Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing pharmacy practice
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication names
  • Experience working in retail setting is preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks
