Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Per Diem Provide essential pharmacy support as a Pharmacy Technician during a two-day assignment in the Champaign, Illinois area. This Per Diem opportunity requires a detail-oriented individual to help deliver excellent pharmacy services and support efficient prescription processing at a retail pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system. Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions following all safety and accuracy protocols. Manage over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels. Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their pharmacy needs. Resolve prescription plan adjudication issues by effectively communicating with third-party payers.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Illinois is mandatory. At least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience. Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software preferred but not required. Excellent communication and organizational skills.

1st shift, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
