PHARMACY TECHNICIAN - 2ND SHIFT

$18.95-$19.95 per hour, including applicable shift differential

Monday:

1:00 PM-11:30 PM;

Tuesday-Friday:

2:00 PM-11:00 PM;

Saturday:

12:00 PM-8:30 PM

ROLE IMPACT

Support licensed pharmacists in the accurate, safe, and efficient preparation and dispensing of prescription medications. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, consistent quality, accountability, and the ability to stay focused while working as part of a team in a fast-paced pharmacy environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare, measure, count, package, and label prescription medications according to prescription orders and established procedures. Replenish medications in automated dispensing cells to full capacity, including opening large quantities of bottles and cases of product. Rotate inventory to help prevent medication expiration and maintain a clean, organized dispensing area. Follow federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations while maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance. Maintain accurate prescription and medication-related records and documentation.

LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS

Active Indiana Pharmacy Technician License. High school diploma or equivalent. Previous pharmacy experience.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and accuracy. Ability to stay on task, demonstrate accountability, and work effectively as part of a team. Basic math, reading, and writing skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Able to select and lift objects from shelves and carry to order filling line. Able to consistently carry 20 - 30 lbs. of merchandise short distances and 15 lbs. of merchandise on an extended basis from order filling station to conveyor. Must be able to walk and stand throughout the entire shift.
