EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

• Full time (40hrs/wk.)
• Pharmacy hours: Mon-Fri 9am-6pm
• Weekdays only! No weekend or major holiday work hours. Shifts are typically 8.5 hours with a 30 minute unpaid break.

Doing:

• Assisting in all aspects of an independent retail pharmacy
• Input customer and prescription information into computer system for processing and adjudication
• Answer incoming telephone calls and respond to direct requests or forward calls to appropriate staff
• Accurately count, label, and dispense medications
• Operate cash register and directly assist customers
• Manage pharmacy inventory, receive/place orders, restocking, outdates, and returns
• Cross training in multiple areas of the business including: long-term care pharmacy, immunization services, compounding processes, medication deliveries, etc.
