Responsibilities Accurately input and verify prescription data into pharmacy management software, ensuring all patient information is current and correct. Maintain detailed records of medication preparation, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulation policies, and medical terminology standards during all data entry and compounding activities. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times by following HIPAA guidelines and safeguarding sensitive information. Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to facilitate medication administration, patient service, and accurate documentation of clinical pharmacy activities. Skills Proven experience as a pharmacy technician with knowledge of pharmacy software systems. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical calculations, drug regulation, medical terminology, and pharmacological medical terminology. Familiarity with state healthcare regulations, drug laws, and maintaining compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory standards. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient care and intake processes. Ability to perform detailed data entry accurately under time-sensitive conditions while maintaining attention to detail.
