Job Description

A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Pharmacy Technician 2 in Canton, MI. The Pharmacy Technician 2 will support pharmacy operations, prescription processing, insurance billing, and patient/physician communication. This is an on-site position in Canton, MI. Pharmacy Technician 2 Compensation Pay rate: $18 hourly Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Pharmacy Technician 2
Highlights Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-8:00 PM Work arrangement: On-site Safety-sensitive position with access to Protected Health Information (PHI) Pharmacy Technician 2 Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and distribution of drug products Process prescription exceptions, including resolving insurance claim rejects Conduct member outreach to resolve prescription or billing issues Enter member demographics and prescription information accurately into the data processing system Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member concerns Escalate prescription-related questions to a Pharmacist or provide appropriate processing direction Assist with inbound and outbound calls with patients and physicians Pharmacy Technician 2 Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent 2-4 years of Pharmacy Technician experience Current Pharmacy Technician registration and certification as required by the state Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing prescriptions and member information Ability to work effectively in an on-site, fast-paced pharmacy environment Ability to handle confidential PHI appropriately If you think this Pharmacy Technician 2 position is a good fit for you, please apply to this posting!
