Line of Business PharMerica Position Type Full-Time Our Company PharMerica Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mobile Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role requires extensive travel (60-70%) to various locations to assist in pharmacy operations, medication preparation, and patient support. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently in a mobile setting.Schedule:

If your passion is service excellence and top-quality care, come join our team!- Position will be posted for a minimum of 7 business days Responsibilities Travel to multiple locations to support pharmacy operations and medication distribution Collects information needed to fill prescriptions from customers or healthcare professionals Measures, mixes, and labels medications under the supervision of a pharmacist Ensures accurate prescription preparation and dispensing Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers Process insurance claims and handle medication inquiries Ensure inventory control and proper storage of medications during transit Adhere to all safety and security protocols while transporting medications Communicate effectively with pharmacy teams and healthcare professionals
Supervisory Responsibility:
No QualificationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Pharmacy technician certification preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Percentage of Travel:
25-75%- Reliable personal vehicle for travel.
- Ability to travel 60-70% of the time.
- To perform this role will require frequently sitting, standing, walking, typing on a keyboard with fingers and occasionally bending, reaching, and climbing (stairs/ladders). The physical requirements will be the ability to push/pull and lift/carry 11-20 lbs.
