Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining patient records, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare prescription orders under pharmacist supervision
• Measure medication amounts for prescriptions
• Package and label prescriptions
• Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level
• Process customer transactions at the pharmacy counter
• Assist with insurance billing and resolving any issues
• Provide quality customer service to patients and healthcare providers

Requirements:

• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician or in the process of obtaining certification
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
• Experience in medication administration, IV infusion, and inhalation therapies
• Familiarity with critical care and acute care settings
• Excellent patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
