Pharmacy Technician IV- Specialty Pharmacy Cone Health - 3.6 Greensboro, NC Job Details Part-time 14 hours ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Pharmacy Technician Certification Full Job Description The Pharmacy Technician Lead Certified IV Ambulatory performs specialized functions necessary to assist pharmacists in providing safe, efficient, and cost-effective services. Working under limited supervision, this role oversees workflows and regulatory standards.
Essential Job Function:
Maintains pharmacy workflow; including but not limited to compounding hazardous and non-hazardous IV medications, distribution of medication in compliance with current standards or obtaining a complete and accurate medication history based on organization standard. Serves as a reference for other pharmacy technicians. Serves as a mentor in the training and orientation of new employees. Leads and implements process improvement and departmental quality initiatives. Communicates effectively with team members in and outside of pharmacy, providing quality customer service. Performs other duties as reasonably required or assigned.
Education:
Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:

Required:
7 years. Successful completion (graduation) of CH accredited technician training program is equivalent to 2 years of experience.
Licensure/Certification/Listing:
Required:
Certified Pharmacy Technician.
