Duration:

14 Weeks Contract (Possibilities of Extension)

Shift:

8p - 7a, 7 shifts on 7 shifts off. Thursday start to the week; they will work 7 nights in a row starting then off for 7.

Payrate:

$25/hour on w2

Duties:

Prepares extemporaneous preparations accurately. Legibly signs all paperwork associated with these processes. Handles requests via phone, window, fax, and computer in a professional and timely manner. Prepares IVs aseptically and in a timely manner promoting efficiency and cost effectiveness. Assures all products are bar-coded. Places ancillary labels on specified products when necessary. Checks expirations on all medications, pulls outdated products and places in a segregated area to be returned/destroyed.

Skills:

Previous hospital pharmacy experience (2+ years) preferred. Mixing Chemotherapy and infusion experience is a plus

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent. Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) - preferred Current active registration with the State of New Jersey Board of Pharmacy - required. #

IRI-MT Pay:

$25.00 per hour
