Responsibilities Review pharmacy records and accurately assign appropriate billing codes, including ICD-10 codes. Ensure precise billing by interpreting medical records, clinical notes, and pharmacy documentation. Verify the completeness and accuracy of records related to pharmacy billing. Collaborate with healthcare providers and insurance companies to resolve billing discrepancies and facilitate medical collections. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, Rx sig , and healthcare regulations to ensure compliance. Support the organization's revenue cycle by processing claims promptly and following up on unpaid or denied claims. Qualifications Prior experience in billing roles is highly preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology, and healthcare documentation standards. Can obtain or has a NJ state Pharmacy Technician licience Knowledge of insurance claim procedures. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex clinical information accurately. Effective communication skills for collaborating with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and patients. Ability to stay current with evolving medical billing regulations.
