Hours:
Monday thru Friday 8am-4:30pm; every other weekend; 2 major and 1 minor holiday The Pharmacy Technician II will be responsible for, but not limited to: 1. Print/Sort Labels for filling prescriptions 2. Assist with processing of pharmacy orders, including assembling of required items, packaging, labeling and completing necessary paperwork. 3. Process and Update Emergency Kits 4. Maintain cleanliness in pharmacy area 5. Package/Seal Blister Packs & complete associated packaging logs 6. Operate Packaging machines 7. Prepare orders for Bagging/delivery 8. Assist with Inventory 9. Check shelves for expired/damaged meds 10. Assist with return drug procedures 11. Stock medications 12. Monitor and perform back order procedures 13. Assist with training of new employees
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Professional Experience:
Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the State Board of Pharmacy PTCB license, a plus 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience in a long term care or retail pharmacy environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills Partners Pharmacy - Our mission is to define excellence within the health care community.
