ATA Services Inc seeks a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacy operations for government and private sector clients. In this role, you will assist pharmacists by filling and labeling prescriptions, managing inventory, processing insurance and patient information, and maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations. The Pharmacy Technician will provide courteous customer service, communicate with providers and insurers, and ensure medication safety and confidentiality. Responsibilities Assist pharmacists in filling, labeling, and packaging prescriptions Verify and enter patient and prescription information accurately Process insurance claims and resolve basic billing issues Manage medication inventory, stocking, and expiration checks Maintain pharmacy records in compliance with regulations Provide courteous customer service to patients and providers Follow safety, privacy, and HIPAA guidelines Communicate with physicians and insurers for clarifications Operate pharmacy software and automated dispensing systems Support general administrative and clerical tasks as needed Required Skills Prescription processing Pharmacy inventory management Pharmacy software/EMR systems Medication dosage calculations Insurance and billing processing Knowledge of pharmacy regulations and HIPAAData entry and accuracy Customer service in healthcare settings Recordkeeping and documentation Microsoft Office or similar tools
