About the Role As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll play an important role in helping patients receive the medications they need safely, accurately, and on time. Working alongside licensed pharmacists, you'll support the preparation, packaging, labeling, and management of medications used in cancer treatment and patient care. Starting Pay:

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience Certification Requirement 1. National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or ExCPT from National Healthcareer Association (NHA) required. 2. Registered Pharmacy Technician with NYS Office of the Professions, State Education Department. Education and Experience High school diploma or High School Equivalency diploma.

1. Incumbents must maintain the required New York State registration and national certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) as a condition of continued employment. 2. Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
