Role Description PureCare Pharmacy & Wellness is seeking a part-time Pharmacy Technician to join our growing team. This is an on-site position in Greenvale, NY. The Pharmacy Technician will work closely with our pharmacists to support both our retail/community pharmacy and long-term care operations. Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, preparing and packaging medications, assisting with insurance and billing, maintaining accurate patient records, managing inventory, and communicating with patients, caregivers, healthcare providers, and long-term care facilities. We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Qualifications Previous pharmacy technician or related pharmacy experience preferred Experience with prescription processing, medication preparation, labeling, and packaging Long-term care pharmacy experience is a plus Familiarity with insurance processing, billing, and pharmacy management systems Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work collaboratively with pharmacists, healthcare Experience with inventory management, ordering, receiving, and stock rotation Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow pharmacy policies Relevant New York State certification or licensure, if required, or Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a pharmacy where patients are known, relationships matter, and personalized care comes first.
