Job Description

Overview This position will be responsible for accurately entering transaction information, processing payments and disbursements, maintaining organized records, and assisting with the day-to-day administrative and accounting functions of our title insurance operations. The position will work closely with escrow officers, title staff, lenders, attorneys, vendors, and other parties involved in real estate closings to ensure payments and transaction information are processed accurately and efficiently. A strong candidate must be very comfortable working with email , including managing a busy inbox, responding to routine inquiries promptly and professionally, following up on outstanding items, and communicating clearly with clients Prior experience in title insurance, escrow, real estate, banking, accounting, or accounts payable is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with strong administrative, data entry, and financial processing experience. Responsibilities Enter new title and escrow transactions into the company's software (Trackerpro) Perform general bookkeeping duties including data entry, account reconciliation and ledger maintenance using software Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments Reconcile bank and escrow accounts Prepare detailed financial reports, including financial statements for internal review or external audits Enter and maintain accurate transaction and accounting data Skills Strong understanding of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping and general ledger accounting Excellent attention to detail Ability to interpret financial data clearly and communicate findings effectively to team members Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to deadlines This position is paid and ideal for candidates eager to contribute their legal support skills alongside robust bookkeeping expertise. Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
