Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A travel pharmacy technician position is available in Upstate New York, offering a 13-week contract with an ASAP start. This role involves working variable days and afternoons with a schedule of five 8-hour shifts per week, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.
Responsibilities include:
Performing sterile and non-sterile compounding to support medication preparation Restocking Pyxis machines efficiently to ensure medication availability Delivering medications to patient floors promptly and accurately Managing incoming pharmacy calls and assisting with inquiries and requests The ideal candidate will possess a valid New York State Pharmacy Technician license and have a minimum of two years of inpatient pharmacy technician experience. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital setting are essential for success in this role. This opportunity is well-suited for pharmacy technicians who enjoy travel and are flexible in adapting to new environments.
