IDS (Investigational Drug Service) Pharmacy Technician Exciting Opportunity at

MSK:

We are currently seeking an IDS (Investigational Drug Service) Pharmacy Technician for our dynamic Pharmacy team.

Role Overview:

Use precautionary techniques in handling and disposing chemotherapeutic, biological and other pharmacologic agents as per department guidelines. Accurately positions labels on medications and products. Ensure drugs are not expired as per departmental guidelines. Ensure drugs are not expired for emergency drug boxes. Prepare sterile, parenteral products using aseptic techniques as per department guidelines. Compound extemporaneous products according to departmental guidelines.

Key Qualifications:

HS Diploma/GED with 2+ years of clinic/hospital experience preferred PTCB or NHA Technician Certification (CPhT) required Current NYS Technician License IV compounding experience preferred Chemotherapy/hazardous chemical handling preferred Inventory/narcotic control experience a plus Experience with Investigational Drug Service or Clinical Trials is a plus Experience with Shipping/Receiving logistics is a plus
