Schedule:

9:00 AM-5:30 PM Position Summary The Pharmacy Technician works under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to support prescription fulfillment, IV preparation, medication packaging, billing, inventory, and pharmacy operations. This position also assists with maintaining accurate, safe, and efficient pharmacy practices. Responsibilities Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist. Enter prescription and billing information into the computer system to support reimbursement and payment. Prepackage medications for dispensing in accordance with standards and government regulations. Assist the Pharmacist with final checking of filled prescriptions. Prepare medications for Pharmacist final review and package medications after final review. Coordinate accurate and timely delivery of medications to customers. Assist Pharmacy Management with inventory practices, including: Receiving and rotating medications and supplies. Posting lot numbers and expiration dates. Assisting with physical inventory. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Check equipment for proper calibration, safety, and cleanliness. Follow pharmacy procedures and applicable standards and regulations.
