Your responsibilities will include:

Accurately entering and processing prescriptions Preparing, packaging, and labeling medications under pharmacist supervision Assisting pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations Providing friendly and professional customer service Answering phones and assisting patients with routine questions Processing prescription refills and insurance claims Maintaining accurate patient and medication records Receiving, organizing, and stocking inventory Checking medication expiration dates Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy Following all applicable pharmacy laws, regulations, policies, and procedures Maintaining strict patient confidentiality Assisting with evening closing procedures Participating in a rotating weekend schedule Performing other pharmacy duties as assigned Interested in Compounding? We'd love to help you grow! Depending on your experience, qualifications, and interest, there may be an opportunity to receive training in pharmaceutical compounding. Previous compounding experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate. This may include training in proper preparation techniques, documentation, quality control, cleaning and sanitation procedures, and other applicable compounding requirements. Qualifications Required:

Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacy Technician License Ability to pass a state background check and drug test Strong attention to detail Ability to maintain patient confidentiality

Preferred:

National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) Previous pharmacy technician experience Retail, long-term care, or compounding pharmacy experience Previous non-sterile compounding experience Experience with pharmacy computer systems Experience processing insurance claims Schedule Part-Time | Primarily Evening Shifts | Rotating Weekends The position will initially be part-time, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time based on performance, availability, and the needs of the pharmacy.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 30.0 per week
