Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pharmacy Technician, where you will play a vital role in supporting pharmacy operations and ensuring safe, efficient medication management. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional patient care by accurately preparing, dispensing, and managing medications in various healthcare settings. Duties Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately, including sterile IV admixture and compounding medications. Manage medication inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, and maintaining proper storage conditions. Enter prescription data into pharmacy software systems with precision, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. Support patient service by answering medication-related questions and providing clear instructions on medication use. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all state and federal healthcare regulations governing pharmacy practice. Perform pharmaceutical calculations for accurate dosage compounding and medication administration. Ensure aseptic technique during sterile procedures and maintain sterile IV infusion environments following best practices. Skills Proven experience in LTC (Long-Term Care), hospital, or community pharmacy environments with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulations. Knowledge of critical care and acute care pharmacy operations, including IV infusion and sterile compounding procedures. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems for data entry, inventory management, and prescription processing. Strong understanding of medical terminology, pharmacological terminology, and drug regulation laws. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to perform pharmaceutical calculations accurately and efficiently under pressure. Experience with maintaining compliance with state healthcare laws, drug regulation standards, and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance protocols. $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
