Careteam Plus Pharmacy is growing and we seek to add a new PRN work as needed member to our team! The Pharmacy Technician will work directly under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist and will assist with tech duties permitted under SC law.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Highschool diploma required. Experience A minimum of one-year pharmacy tech prior experience required.

• Experience with Athena EMR preferred. Experience with Pioneer System preferred. Experience with 340b pharmacy preferred. Special Skills Strong customer service focus required. Effective verbal and written communication skills required. Organized, flexible and able to manage competing priorities required. Resourcefulness in problem solving required. Able to receive and follow through with delegated tasks and accountability required. High level PC skills, including but not limited to Microsoft Office software required. Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English preferred. Other Meets Careteam Plus Employee Health Tuberculosis screening program requirements. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty without accommodation or with accommodation without undue hardship to Careteam Plus. Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate and accurate information. Contact patients, pharmacists, and doctor's offices to resolve claims/prescription issues. Assist pharmacists with basic pharmacy operation education. Resolve and address customer issues and questions. Facilitate mail-out processing daily. Packaging/repackaging as needed. Verify/re-verify insurance benefits. Interact courteously with patients and team members to develop and maintain positive and professional relationships. Answer incoming and make outbound calls to patients, case managers, providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders. Clearly write routine reports and correspondence. Handle payment transactions at Point of Service (POS) and reconcile beginning and end-of-day transactions and balances. Proactively identify and analyze problems and provide effective solutions. Assist with 340b and non 340b inventory. Careteam pharmacy staff work together as a team and help each other and patients/clients by performing other duties as assigned.
