Pay:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Job description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. The technician must possess strong communication and organizational skills to support pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing medications. Accurately enter prescription and patient information into the pharmacy system. Process third-party insurance claims and resolve issues related to billing. Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs. Label and package prescriptions with proper documentation. Manage inventory and order medications as needed. Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals. Perform administrative tasks, such as answering phones and managing records. Comply with all state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and SC Board of Pharmacy laws, as well as company policies and procedures. • Other related duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications Education & Experience:

High school diploma or GED required. Previous retail experience.

Preferred Experience:

Minimum 2 years of pharmacy technician experience. 340B experience preferred.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and drug inventory control.

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
