Job Summary Angelo Pharmacy is looking for a Full-time or Part-time Pharmacy Technician / Trainee. The ideal candidate will assist Pharmacists with preparing and dispensing prescriptions to our patients, provide patient care and education in accordance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) regulations. Must be bilingual

Essential Functions of the Role Type/Enter prescription information into the Pharmacy Software System Process patients Rx Insurance information and generate the Rx Label Preparing the prescriptions by counting into individual bottles from the stock bottles Labeling the containers and presenting to the Pharmacist for verification Interact courteously with patients and team members to develop and maintain positive, professional relationships Answer incoming and make outbound calls to Patients, Insurance companies & Providers Handle payment transactions at Point of Service (POS) and reconcile beginning and end-of-day transactions Placing the orders with the wholesalers Delivering prescriptions to patients Proactively identify and analyze problems and provide effective solutions Embrace and perform in the spirit of the company's core values and goals Additional responsibilities as needed Ideal Candidate should have High school diploma or GED One or more years of related Pharmacy Technician experience preferred Must be currently registered as a CPhT with the Board of Pharmacy (BOP) in Texas National Pharmacy Technician certification through an accredited certification program is preferred Bilingual
