Position Summary Apex Pharmacy Solutions (APS) is seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Pharmacy Technician to support sterile compounding operations in a full-time role. This position emphasizes precision, compliance, and patient safety within APS's hormone optimization, and longevity/performance medicine compounding operations, and requires strict adherence to USP <795> and <797>, and Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform sterile compounding with precision and strict adherence to established protocols and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Ensure accurate and timely medication preparation and distribution Maintain proper documentation and organization of medication records in accordance with USP <795> and <797>and Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) requirements Monitor inventory levels and replenish compounding supplies as needed Support compliance with all regulatory and safety standards, including USP <795> and <797>, Follow aseptic technique, gowning, and cleanroom protocols when accessing controlled compounding environments Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper sanitation of compounding workstations Support internal audits, quality assurance reviews, and regulatory readiness activities Perform other duties as assigned by the PIC or Compounding leadership Qualifications Required Active Registered Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP) Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in sterile compounding environments Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to follow detailed SOPs with precision Ability to maintain flexibility to support occasional schedule adjustments or coverage needs Preferred Additional certification or training in aseptic technique or sterile compounding beyond TSBP minimums Direct experience in a 503A or 503B sterile compounding pharmacy environment Familiarity with High Risk drug handling procedures Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to stand and/or sit for extended periods, up to eight (8) or more hours per shift Frequent use of hands and arms for product handling, compounding, and documentation Occasional lifting of up to 20-30 lbs Ability to work within a controlled cleanroom environment, including gowning and adherence to environmental controls Exposure to controlled lighting, temperature-regulated compounding areas, and cleaning/disinfecting agents

Pay:

$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
