PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

team! The Pharmacy Technician is responsible to assist Pharmacists in procuring, organizing, preparing, dispensing, delivering, and charging for medication and other pharmaceutical supplies. Clerical support for order entry, label preparation, drug and supply procurement, and charging are required. All tasks must be performed utilizing safety and aseptic standards. Receives delegated tasks from Pharmacist and reports directly to Pharmacy Manager.

HOURS:

Occasional hours as needed, Monday - Friday between 7am - 3:30pm, every 4-6thweekend Experience/Qualifications High school graduate required. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) is preferred. Six months to 1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital setting is preferred. Would consider experience in a clinic or retail pharmacy. Previous clerical, word processing and computer experience is desired. Knowledge of hospital systems and medical terminology is preferred. Aspirus Langlade Hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital located in Antigo, Wisconsin. The hospitals admit 1,300 inpatients annually with 62,000 outpatient visits each year. The Emergency Department has more than 12,000 patient visits each year. We average 180-200 births per year and perform 1,500 surgeries annually.
