Pharmacy Fill Technician Job Description The pharmacy fill technician will prepare all medications and pharmacy supplies to be checked by a pharmacist and delivered to facilities. Responsibilities Fill cycle medications into blister or strip packages for unit dosing. Fill medications utilizing automation. Manually fill prescriptions. Prepare bulk supplies, antibiotics, and pain medications. Essential Skills Pharmacy technician certification. 6 months of pharmacy experience. Strong attention to detail. Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with HIPAA regulations. Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting. Work Environment The position is based in a long-term care pharmacy with a relaxed work environment and strong team collaboration. The schedule offers flexibility, requiring at least one opening shift from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and one closing shift from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. per week, with varied hours between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. throughout the week. Additionally, the role requires working one weekend per month, with Saturday hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on-call availability on Sunday. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
