• Part-Time / On-Call Job Description Atria Mobile Blood Draw (AMBD) is seeking a reliable, experienced, and self-motivated On-Call Mobile Phlebotomist to support our contracted services with the County of Riverside. This position provides on-site phlebotomy services for law enforcement-related medical collection needs. Service requests may occur at any hour, including evenings, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays. We are looking for a professional who takes pride in their work, responds reliably to accepted assignments, and can operate independently while maintaining the highest standards of specimen integrity, communication, and patient care. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced phlebotomist seeking flexible, part-time contract work with the ability to accept on-call assignments. Position Responsibilities Respond to accepted on-call service requests at designated locations within the Riverside County service area. Perform professional blood collection services in accordance with established protocols and client requirements. Maintain dependable availability for agreed-upon on-call coverage, including evenings and weekends. Review, accept, and print service orders using Atria Mobile's scheduling and dispatch software. Travel to designated locations, including law enforcement facilities or other authorized collection sites. Properly identify patients and verify collection orders before performing venipuncture. Collect, label, process, store, and transport specimens in accordance with laboratory requirements. Accurately document collection details, specimen handling, and laboratory drop-off information using the mobile app. Communicate promptly with Atria Mobile's case management team regarding collection issues, delays, unsuccessful draws, or other concerns. Maintain confidentiality and follow applicable safety, privacy, and specimen-handling procedures.

Position Requirements California CPT I or CPT II Certification:

Current certification required. Must meet applicable California phlebotomy requirements. Minimum 2

Years of Active Phlebotomy Experience:

Demonstrated experience with routine and challenging blood draws.

Reliable Transportation:

Valid driver's license, insured vehicle, and ability to travel independently to service locations.

Dependability & Responsiveness:

Ability to respond to accepted assignments promptly and communicate changes in availability or unexpected delays.

Flexible Availability:

Willingness to accept evening, weekend, and other on-call assignments when available.

Technology & Communication Skills:

Smartphone, mobile app proficiency, printing capabilities, and strong professional communication. Preferred Qualifications Mobile phlebotomy or home blood draw experience. Experience working with law enforcement, occupational health, or time-sensitive medical collection services. Experience with specimen processing, centrifugation, and laboratory courier procedures. Comfortable performing difficult draws and working independently. Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Riverside County. Experience working with senior living facilities, hospitals, clinics, or other healthcare environments.

Compensation & Schedule Compensation:

$20-$30 per hour (stand by) + $40-$60 additional fee per completed collection + miles when applicable. Atria Mobile offers a two-part compensation structure for independent contractors, consisting of an agreed-upon hourly rate and an additional fee for each completed blood collection. Compensation details and applicable payment terms will be outlined in the Independent Contractor Agreement.

Schedule:

Part-Time / On-Call Service requests may occur 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including evenings, overnight hours, weekends, and holidays. Contractors will establish their availability with Atria Mobile and are expected to fulfill accepted assignments reliably and professionally.
