Full-Time / Part-Time Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team in Culver City, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting blood specimens, ensuring patient comfort, maintaining accurate records, and adhering to all safety and quality standards. This role requires excellent patient interaction skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection procedures on patients of all ages. Verify patient identity and ensure accurate specimen labeling. Prepare specimens for laboratory testing and transport. Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and quality assurance procedures. Explain collection procedures and provide excellent customer service to patients. Accurately document patient information and collection details. Maintain equipment, supplies, and a clean work environment. Follow all HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Current California Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification required. Minimum of 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred. Strong venipuncture skills and specimen handling knowledge. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. CPR certification preferred. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
