GED Hematology Full Job Description Job Description Wanted:

Licensed Phlebotomist to perform blood draw, processing, and testing in busy physician-office laboratory.

Required:

minimum of a CPT1 California state phlebotomy license. Experience desired, but not required. Medical Assisting training a big plus . Employee will perform blood draws on patients in our hematology/oncology out-patient clinic in Vallejo, process the blood for send-out to a reference lab or for on-site testing, and perform on-site testing of hematology, chemistry, and advanced chemistry. No complex procedures. Training is provided, but this position requires an extremely high degree of multi-tasking, trainability, computer saavy, trouble-shooting, and accuracy. Due to our licensing requirements, a high school diploma (or equivalent) or higher is required for hiring.
