Onsite Shift:
Mon to Fri, 8 am to 430 pm, no nights/weekend/on call/holidays

Day Health Insurance Benefits Position Purpose:
Provide and assist participants with daily living activities, restorative, and supportive care. Monitor and report participants' health status and ensure a safe environment.
What you will do:
Assist in participant care during exams and treatments. Perform assessments, take vital signs, and manage medication administration. Conduct lab specimen collection, EKGs, and other tasks as directed. Provide ADL assistance and maintain cleanliness in the clinic. Manage supplies and maintain accurate documentation. Perform front desk duties, including participant check-ins and phone handling. Maintain current written records, indicating ongoing documentation of services provided, reassessments of changing needs, and participant's expressed wishes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program AND current Medical Assistant certification required. High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong phlebotomy experience strongly preferred Experience with elderly or frail populations preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of documented experience working with a frail or elderly population or must receive appropriate training upon hiring. Must manage conflict well, be customer focused and be able to adapt to ongoing change regarding work priorities. Demonstrates superior written/verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft product suite (MS Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.); basic knowledge and experience with electronic mail and calendaring system. Ability to use other software as required to perform the essential functions of the job. Position may require 10% travel within the Centers geographic region.
