This position offers you the opportunity to utilize your phlebotomy skills in a fast-paced, professional environment while building trust with patients and supporting clinical laboratory operations. Responsibilities Draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations, following established procedures. Prepare specimens for lab testing, ensuring accuracy and proper handling according to safety standards. Maintain detailed records and documentation of sample collection and processing activities. Communicate procedures to patients in a respectful and professional manner to foster trust and confidence. Ensure a safe, clean, and professional environment for patients and staff at all times. Demonstrate leadership behaviors focused on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information. Perform specimen collection and processing duties independently under supervision, adhering to established practices and procedures. Required Skills Proven ability to provide error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including experience with pediatric and geriatric patients. Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities. Effective communication skills to explain procedures and build rapport with patients. Keyboard and data entry experience to accurately log specimen and patient information. Additional Skills & Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred. Phlebotomy certification is preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington. Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience; over one year preferred. Customer service experience in retail or service environments is a plus. Reliable transportation to the work site; personal transportation required as buses or rideshare may not be dependable. Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and be available for overtime or on-call shifts. Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
