  • THC•Needed Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project/Assignment?
  • Candidate will be at an IOP location.

Draw blood specimens from pediatric to geriatric age groups and uses system for registering patients. Also performing patient registration and specimen processing. Will be responsible for keeping accurate patient manifest and remaining in compliance with the company. Will be working alone and part of a team.

Note:

Employee will be receiving training on system for 2 weeks to a month. Candidate will be working 5 days a week from Mon-Thurs and alternate Friday/Saturday. Shift Time

  • 11:30am-8pm.

Candidates are expected to be flexible during training period. Key Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and blood collection procedures safely and accurately. Collect specimens from patients across all age groups, including neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Follow established specimen collection, labeling, handling, and processing procedures. Provide professional and compassionate patient service. Adapt to different Patient Service Center environments and workflows. Float between multiple locations based on operational needs. Maintain accurate patient and specimen information. Follow all applicable safety, infection-control, and compliance procedures. Utilize computer systems and electronic systems for required documentation and processing. Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality. Follow all company policies and procedures. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 2+ years of phlebotomy experience preferred/required for this assignment Strong hands-on venipuncture skills Experience drawing patients across a broad age range, from neonatal to geriatric Ability to work independently with minimal phlebotomy training Strong communication and patient-service skills Reliable attendance and punctuality
