Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm Why This Role Matters As a Phlebotomist II, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive accurate and timely diagnostic testing. This busy physician office setting performs a high volume of fasting lab collections each morning, making efficiency, attention to detail, and excellent patient care essential to success. What You'll Do Collect blood specimens from patients using established venipuncture and capillary collection procedures Process and prepare specimens for laboratory testing while ensuring quality and accuracy standards are met Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper specimen labeling procedures are followed Provide exceptional patient service while explaining collection procedures and helping patients feel comfortable Maintain required records, documentation, and confidentiality of patient information Perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing as needed Support daily operations in a fast-paced environment with an average of 40-50 patient collections per day Maintain a safe, professional, and organized work environment What We're Looking For A current, up-to-date resume High school diploma or equivalent required 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections Strong specimen processing experience preferred Experience working in a Patient Service Center environment preferred Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a high-volume setting Keyboard and data entry experience Reliable transportation and flexibility to provide coverage at multiple locations when needed Ability to meet compliance requirements Must be eligible and provide proof of eligibility to work in the US What's In It For You Opportunity to work with a busy, established physician practice supported by experienced team members Comprehensive on-the-job training with a tenured employee for approximately two weeks Gain experience in a fast-paced patient care environment Develop advanced specimen collection and processing skills Opportunity to make a direct impact on patient health and care outcomes Potential pathway to long-term career opportunities Benefits for Manpower Associates (Upon Eligibility) Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for: Medical and Prescription Drug Plans Dental Plan Supplemental Life Insurance Short Term Disability Insurance 401(k)
