Overview Join our team as a Mobile Phlebotomist, where your expertise in blood collection and patient care will make a meaningful difference in people's lives. In this vital role, you will travel to various patient locations, providing professional and compassionate specimen collection services. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure accurate testing processes while delivering exceptional patient experiences. This position offers the opportunity to work independently, demonstrate your clinical skills, and contribute to vital diagnostic services that support health and wellness. Responsibilities Travel to patient locations, including homes, clinics, or community sites, to perform blood draws and specimen collection with precision and care Obtain blood samples through venipuncture and skin puncture techniques, adhering strictly to aseptic procedures and safety protocols Prepare specimens for laboratory processing, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and transportation according to established guidelines Maintain clear documentation of collection procedures, patient interactions, and specimen details in compliance with privacy laws and laboratory standards Provide excellent patient service by explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns compassionately, and ensuring comfort throughout the process Follow all laboratory procedures and techniques accurately while demonstrating strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and laboratory best practices Qualifications Proven experience in laboratory procedures, techniques, or clinical laboratory settings with a focus on phlebotomy or specimen collection Knowledge of venipuncture methods, blood sampling techniques, and specimen processing protocols Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques necessary for safe blood collection Prior hospital or healthcare facility experience preferred; familiarity with patient care standards is highly valued Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and education during procedures Ability to work independently while managing multiple appointments efficiently in various community settings Valid certification in phlebotomy or related laboratory fields is preferred; ongoing training or certification is encouraged for professional growth
Pay:
$20.00 - $26.00 per hour
