The primary function of this role is to perform phlebotomy and blood draws while providing customer service. The position will support both Patient Service Centers and Client Offices and may require travel between Rockville and Gaithersburg locations.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and blood draws. Provide customer service to patients. Work in both Patient Service Centers and Client Offices. Handle approximately 20-125 draws per day, depending on location/workload. Work in locations with either 2 or 4 draw rooms. Stand for approximately 4-7 hours during the workday. Work independently as well as part of a team. Travel between Rockville and Gaithersburg locations as required. Complete required compliance requirements. Attend at least a couple of weeks of initial training, even with prior phlebotomy experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED. Phlebotomy experience/skills. Ability to perform blood draws in a busy patient-facing environment. Comfortable standing for extended periods. Able to work both independently and with a team. Willingness to travel between Rockville and Gaithersburg. Must meet required compliance requirements.
