This opportunity is ideal for an experienced phlebotomist who already has a primary job but would like to pick up occasional hours for supplemental income . This is not a full-time position. Hours are based on scheduled donor appointments and blood collection events. Michigan Blood Collection collects blood and biological specimens for research purposes only , helping support medical and scientific research. Responsibilities Perform long-draw whole blood collections using blood collection bags Provide a professional and positive donor experience Monitor donors during and after collection Follow established collection, safety, and documentation procedures Maintain a clean and organized collection environment Assist with occasional local blood collection events Qualifications Professional phlebotomy experience required Long-draw, blood-bag, blood center, or similar collection experience strongly preferred Strong venipuncture skills Dependable and professional Comfortable performing larger-volume blood collections Excellent communication and donor-care skills
