Phlebotomist Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join our team at a community clinic. This clinic caters to a diverse patient population, including infants, pediatric, and geriatric patients. Additionally, many patients speak Spanish, Hmong, or Somali. Responsibilities Perform blood draws and venipuncture procedures. Interact with patients to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience. Utilize EPIC Beaker for patient collection and data management. Essential Skills Proficiency in phlebotomy and blood draw techniques. Experience with EPIC is strongly preferred. Ability to perform blood draws on infants and babies is essential. Additional Skills & Qualifications Phlebotomy certificate is preferred. At least 6 months of phlebotomy experience is preferred. Work Environment The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts from 8 AM to 12 PM. This position offers the opportunity to work in a school-based clinic and be part of an esteemed community health institution. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
