Job Description

Drug Testing Collector Mid Missouri Drug Testing Collections, Inc. — Jefferson City/Columbia, Missouri Mid Missouri Drug Testing Collections, Inc. (MMDTC) is looking for a dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Drug Testing Collector to join our growing team. The Collector will be responsible for performing drug and alcohol testing services for DOT-regulated and non-DOT clients while maintaining strict confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance with applicable regulations and company procedures. Job Responsibilities Perform DOT and non-DOT urine drug collections in accordance with applicable regulations and company procedures. Perform male observed urine collections when an observed collection is required or authorized under applicable DOT regulations and company procedures. Complete all required custody and control forms accurately and completely. Maintain the integrity and security of specimens from collection through shipment. Perform oral fluid drug testing as trained and authorized. Perform alcohol testing if properly trained and qualified. Perform hair and/or nail specimen collections trained and qualified. Perform DNA/paternity collections as trained and qualified. Perform fingerprinting services as trained and authorized. Verify donor identification and maintain confidentiality of donor information. Explain collection procedures professionally to donors and answer basic questions. Follow strict chain-of-custody procedures. Maintain a clean, professional, and compliant collection environment. Package and prepare specimens for shipment to the appropriate laboratory. Communicate professionally with employers, donors, laboratories, and MMDTC staff. Maintain required certifications and complete continuing training as required. Follow all MMDTC policies and applicable federal and state requirements. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous drug-testing, healthcare, laboratory, medical office, or specimen-collection experience is preferred but training will be provided to the right candidate. Must be comfortable working with the public and interacting professionally with donors. Strong attention to detail is essential. Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow written procedures precisely. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality. Basic computer skills required. Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team. Must be willing to complete required ALL collector training and maintain qualifications. Must be able to pass a Federal Background for fingerprinting Important Requirement Because MMDTC performs male observed collections when required under applicable DOT regulations, applicants must be comfortable performing these collections in accordance with the applicable rules, privacy requirements, and MMDTC procedures. Observed collections are performed only when permitted or required by applicable regulations and procedures.
