Job Description Position Summary FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital - Hoke, currently has 8 Med/Surg beds and 23 ER beds. Responsibilities Phlebotomist/Specimen Processor Job Summary Will work as Phlebotomist/Specimen Processor while performing phlebotomy and specimen processing. Obtains blood specimens by venipuncture and capillary methods from all age groups. Provides direction/education for the collection of urine, stool, and other laboratory specimens. Processes and prepare lab specimens for transport to the testing lab. Draws in our Emergency room, outpatient and clinics as needed. Qualifications Phlebotomist/Specimen Processor Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required. Completion of an accredited Phlebotomy Program, Medical Assisting Program, or a minimum of 6 months full time experience in phlebotomy required. ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
