Job Description

$500.00 BONUS We have been contracted by Schenectady County CC to recruit an instructor for their Phlebotomy Technician class. They are looking for an experienced medical professional with a minimum of seven (7) years of Phlebotomy experience to teach the class. ALL curriculum and materials are provided.

September 8, 2026 - October 29, 2026 Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday | 5:00pm - 9:00pm
Instructor Responsibilities:
Deliver instruction using approved curriculum and materials Evaluate student performance and track attendance and grades in accordance with program policies Maintain regular communication with students regarding their progress Apply effective teaching strategies and continuously seek ways to enhance student learning Incorporate real-world experience into engaging classroom instruction Facilitate hands-on learning and promote student success
Phlebotomy Instructor Requirements:
Minimum of seven (7) years of Phlebotomy experience. Hold a current license/registry which is verifiable within the state of campus location. Teaching or training experience preferred. Must also have knowledge of how to preform vitals signs (including pulse & respiratory rate, blood pressure, temperature) Must demonstrate the ability to teach from an established standardized curriculum.
