Excellent opportunity for a Certified Phlebotomist to work with a global life sciences and healthcare company! Flexibility to work one of the following shifts: 1st shift- 8am-5pm 3rd shift- 630pm to 7am, rotating weekends (12 hours per day) 2+ years of phlebotomy doing blood draws on pediatrics and geriatrics

Position Responsibilities:

Phlebotomist technician with experience doing blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc. Properly explains in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collections as required. Demonstrate technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles. Fully understand all of the physicians' orders. Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes. Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test order. Check all test requisitions or computer label against script to ensure 100% correct.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of work experience performing blood draws on pediatrics and geriatrics Hard stick experience. Hospital experience Specimen processing Must have a valid phlebotomy certification (National/State certification) High School Diploma or GED Must pass a color vision test Apply for immediate consideration.

Pay:

$21.00 - $22.00 per hour
