This role is essential in supporting patient care by performing high-quality blood collection and sample processing. The ideal candidate provides excellent customer service, maintains high standards for safety and accuracy, and works efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages. Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling and handling of specimens. Prepare, process, and store specimens according to laboratory protocols. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance within the draw site. Utilize electronic systems for order entry, documentation, and reporting. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patient comfort throughout the procedure. Monitor supply levels and communicate inventory needs. Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance guidelines. Such other responsibilities as assigned.
