This role is essential in supporting patient care by performing high-quality blood collection and sample processing. Responsibilities Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages. Verify patient identity and ensure proper labeling and handling of specimens. Prepare, process, and store specimens according to laboratory protocols. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance within the draw site. Utilize electronic systems for order entry, documentation, and reporting. Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring patient comfort throughout the procedure. Monitor supply levels and communicate inventory needs. Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance guidelines. Such other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications Required:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience, preferably in a clinical or draw site setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred:

Certified Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, or related healthcare certification Experience overseeing compliance or quality assurance functions in a medical or laboratory environment Familiarity with CLIA-regulated testing environments and pre-analytical specimen requirements Training or certification in healthcare compliance, safety, or risk management is a strong plus Key Traits for
