A background in holistic, integrative, or functional medicine is a plus, but not required . We are happy to teach the right person about functional medicine, nutrition, fitness, lifestyle, and the mind-body connection. The Position We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist & Patient Care Coordinator who enjoys both patient care and administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities Include:
Perform phlebotomy and assist with various laboratory testing Learn functional medicine testing protocols Greet and communicate with patients in a warm, professional manner Conduct prospective patient intake and follow-up Schedule appointments and consultations Answer phones and emails Explain clinic policies and financial information Process payments and assist with invoicing Monitor inventory and office supplies Assist the physician team as needed Maintain a clean, organized office Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA requirements Help create an exceptional patient experience Our Ideal Candidate Healthcare or medical office experience required Phlebotomy experience required Excellent communication and customer service skills Organized and detail-oriented Strong time-management and critical-thinking skills Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Flexible and able to multitask in a busy environment Compassionate, positive, and genuinely enjoys helping people Interested in health, wellness, and learning Why You'll Love Working Here We want our team to feel as cared for as our patients. Full-time employees receive a medical stipend with each paycheck that can be used toward their own Marketplace BCBS medical and dental insurance. If you choose not to use it toward insurance, you can keep the stipend for other personal uses, subject to applicable requirements.
