Job Summary Be part of the TOP Men's Health Clinics in the Country as a Clinical Assistant/Phlebotomist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting clinical operations. This energetic position involves performing phlebotomy procedures, assisting with patient intake, managing medical documentation, and ensuring smooth clinic workflows. Responsibilities Perform blood draws and specimen collection with precision and care, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in phlebotomy. Assist clinicians during patient examinations by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and updating electronic health records (EHR). Support patient intake processes by updating medical records and explaining clinic procedures clearly. Manage medical documentation accurately, including charting patient encounters, updating medication lists, and coding diagnoses using ICD standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas, ensuring compliance with infection control standards and medical office protocols. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing EMR/EHR systems, and handling patient correspondence efficiently. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient flow and deliver outstanding service in a confidential manner. Qualifications Proven experience in medical office settings or clinical environments, preferably within dermatology, hospital medicine, or urgent care. Certification in phlebotomy or medical assisting; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and medical terminology to support accurate patient care. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ICD coding, and medical documentation standards. Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately across diverse populations. Prior inpatient or hospital experience is a plus; experience working in trauma centers or OR settings is advantageous. Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
