Excellent opportunity for a Phlebotomist to work with a global life sciences and healthcare company!

Shift:

Monday thru Friday 8AM to 5PM Will work 2 locations as needed 2+ years of recent phlebotomy experience doing blood draws on pediatrics to geriatric ages.

Position Responsibilities:

Phlebotomist technician with experience doing phlebotomy blood draws on all ages. Specimen processing and recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc. Properly explains in a clear but courteous manner the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collections as required. Demonstrate techniques using straight needles and/or butterfly needles. Fully understand all of the physicians' orders. Matches laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes. Check all test requisitions or computer label against script to ensure 100% correct.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years of phlebotomy experience performing blood draws on pediatrics and geriatrics. Hard stick experience. Data/order entry, specimen processing, collecting payments Good computer skills must have a reliable vehicle, a good driving history and a valid drivers license High School Diploma or GED Apply for immediate consideration.
